Ms Jasmine
Founder
Jasmine, a born native of Oak Cliff and a Dallas Independent School alum (Justin F. Kimball Class of 2007)
At the beginning of the pandemic and transition into an educator role.

Jasmine decided to birth a nonprofit to encourage & assist in low socioeconomic communities. She enjoys the wisdom of the seniors she’s surrounded by and wanted to encourage others in these communities.

During her teaching tenure, she experienced moments with students that spoke to her heart. Being able to be a person that can create a safe space for the youth is a gift and many students have been encouraged & motivated to achieve their dreams, because of a teacher that genuinely listened and created the space for a conversation.

Jasmine is a graduate from The Culinary Institute of America ’10, Hyde Park NY where she holds a Bachelor’s Professional Studies in Culinary Arts & Hospitality Management 10'. She is currently enrolled and will receive her Life Coach Certification by the end of 2022.
About Us
Turning Interest Into Action
The core values of Rooted for You are to water our roots (encouraging our senior community) and help establishing our future (building our youth to be the leaders that they truly are). While we have made some great strides, Rooted for You still has a lot to accomplish. We need your support to help with our fall/winter events. Donations we’re seeking include blankets, lotions. hand creams, socks, stocking caps/beanies, school supplies (back-to-school backpacks for our youth when they return in January), & monetary gifts to go towards scholarships & supplies that are awarded at the end of May the present school year.
